Because it is holding a medicine bowl, it shows why the name of the Buddha statute is Medicine Buddha. On the left side of the Buddha statute, an famous sentence of “Taepyeoinyeon Jeongchuk Chilwolisipguil Goseokbuljaeyeosaeul Jungsuwigeumsanghwangjemansewon” is engraved. This means “We wish long life for the current emperor as we restore the old rock Buddha in July 29, the second year of Taepyeong(977), the year of Jeongchuk.” On the side, there is a small waterfall (Gaeksan Waterfall) and a mineral spring.

39, Gaeksan-gil, Hanam-si (55-3, Gyosan-dong)

It is a stone tower made in the Koryeo Dynasty with granite. The height is 3.6 meters and is composed with two floors of stylobate and three floors of tower body. In this stone tower, compared to disproportionably big body rocks, the second and third floors very small as well as the roof stone are smaller. The sudden diminishing ratio is very rare in other towers. However, it shows very stable and exquisite workmanship. It is a square stone tower that continues in the traditional Shilla stone tower style and its estimated construction date does not fall after the middle of the Koryeo Dynasty. During the restoration project in 1966, small towers made of agalmotalite were discovered within the tower.

466, Chungung-dong, Hanam-si

It is located west of three floor stone tower of Chungung-dong, it is a stone tower of the Koryeo Dynasty with the height of 7.5 meters, two floors of stylobate and five floors of tower body. This stone tower also has the body stone ratio that vastly diminishes as it goes up and the body stone of the first floor stone being two levels is the distinguishing characteristic. Because the total impression is smart and swift, a glance of Shilla stone tower style can be detected.
